I found quite the suprise when I opened the door to get Camille out of her crib this morning. She was still in her pajamas and diaper--a rare occurence these days. However, she told me "owie" as soon as I entered her room. She sat down and pointed to her leg. Of all things--Camille had a ballpoint pen stuck down her pajama leg. On top of that, she had LOTS of art all over her body and crib and pillow and . . .
I won't mention which parent put her to bed last night. Let's just say I was REALLY surprised.

Too funny! Not for you I guess, since you have to clean it up...try hairspray, it works like a dream in removing ball point pen from just about everything.
Thanks for the tip. I haven't even made an attempt yet. These are the things that keep motherhood interesting.
Hmmm - I'm just glad she only has drawings on her and not injuries. Personally, sleeping with a sharp pen probably isn't the best idea for a toddler. Just a thought to whoever put her to bed. :)
I always love hearing about your adventures. Poor little Camille. I too am glad the owie was not serious. But I do remember when the aspirant climbed on a kitchen cabinet and turned her hair green with food coloring. She must have been about Camille's age. Being a mother is never dull.
Hmmm...I have been enjoying looking at older posts and discovered that there is already a picture similar to this one on the previous page. I guess Camille is a slow learner like her grandma.
Yes, Camille is a bit slow on the uptake where body drawing is concerned. However, her crib was the last place I expected her to find a pen.
